IDB CAPACITATES ITS UTILITY PERSONNEL ON HOUSEKEEPING AND COOKERY

06 August 2020

COTABATO CITY – To enhance the skills of the utility personnel and to improve the quality of services they render, IDB through its Operations, Planning and Training Section (OPTS) and Human Resources Section (HRS) organized and facilitated the Skills Training on Housekeeping and Cookery for the IDB Utility Personnel on 20-24 July 2020 at the IDB Accommodation Facility/HQ Annex, Oblate Drive, Cotabato City.

Ms. Agnes Hipolito, a TESDA trainer and accreditor, served as the resource person for the five-day capacity development activity participated by six (6) IDB utility personnel. The first three days of the training were focused on cookery while the remaining two days were on housekeeping.

The said training serves as a preparatory tool for the IDB utility personnel in taking up a TESDA NC II certification exam on housekeeping and cookery. This is deemed imperative to IDB in order to set a high-quality standard of service from the IDB utility personnel in accommodating its key officials and international members.

Given the ongoing pandemic situation, minimum health standards were observed during the entire conduct of the activity. //CRA
